What this site collects
I use a few analytics tools to understand how people find this site and what they read. Here is what each one does:
Umami Analytics
Runs from cloud.umami.is. Cookieless — it sets nothing in your browser. I see aggregated page-view stats: which pages get visited, from which country, on what device type. No personal data.
Cloudflare Web Analytics
Also cookieless. It measures aggregated performance and traffic — page load times, visit counts — without tracking individual visitors.
Google Analytics 4
Loads only after you accept the cookie-consent banner. If you decline, it never runs and no Google cookies are set. Declining changes nothing about how the site works.
Leadfeeder
A B2B analytics tool. It uses your IP address to tell me which company a visit came from — "someone from Acme Corp viewed the site". It names companies, not people.
RB2B
For visitors from the United States, RB2B may identify individual visitors. Their recommended disclosure, verbatim:
When you visit or log in to our website, cookies and similar technologies may be used by our online data partners or vendors to associate these activities with other personal information they or others have about you, including by association with your email. We (or service providers on our behalf) may then send communications and marketing to these email addresses.
